| I have not used the CONSUMPTION spreadsheet for over four years. I do not need to and you will not need to ultimately. However, for the purposes of this case study I completed an example page, which as I guessed added up to around 2100 kcal.
What I consume today would have seemed sparse in those days, now it does not. I have no expectation of more. Snacks have obviously taken a hit but savings made were donated to my new wardrobe. Much had to be recycled though some was salvaged and relegated for less formal purposes.
We can now scroll back to the time when being obese was the norm. In that weight-loss phase, the daily kcal threshold was set at 1800. My question is, what produce would you omit to get down to the 1800 kcal threshold ? You can see immediately where the big numbers are and this illustrates the process of decision making, which puts you in control.
You can alter the kcal threshold figure at the top of the page to refresh all the data instantly as required.
NB: Nutritional matters are outside the remit of kcal-watch. What you consume is for you to decide and may be influenced by personal factors which do not apply to other people. |
